Fascinated by both craft and history, Lizzie trained in traditional hand bookbinding in the two-year full time program at North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA where she discovered her love of book conservation. Lizzie was a Mellon Fellow at the University of Washington, then a Conservation Technician at the Huntington Library in San Marino, CA following graduation from NBSS. After having been the Assistant Conservator at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH for several years, Lizzie relocated to London to pursue further conservation education at City & Guilds of London Art School, but remains involved in the New England bookbinding and conservation community.
